The Best Beauty Products From Amazon Under $25

Recently, I published a story on HelloGiggles about a Facebook group I joined that was basically a cult, haha. No, there wasn’t criminal activity or a false sense of worship, there were, however, strict rules that if you didn’t abide by, you’d be excommunicated. Although this may seem extreme, after joining this group I immediately stopped using these three beauty products. Including my hardest breakup, coconut oil.

I initially joined the group a few years ago while trying to find an inexpensive dupe for the Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads. When I reached out to the community of women, who are as obsessed with skincare as I am, I found a great solution or “dupe” (which I’ll mention below) for the peel pads from a UK based company which, of course, wasn’t available in the US yet. Luckily, Amazon Prime came through and within days the product was in my hand.
***If I’m being completely honest though….you HAVE to be careful with what you buy on Amazon. Make sure you pay attention to who the seller is and always read the negative reviews (even if it’s an “Amazon Choice”). A lot of trendy skincare and makeup products get counterfeited. Dishonest companies who make fake products in unsafe environments using unsafe ingredients can be dangerous to your health. There’s a documentary on Netflix called Broken where you can learn more about the fake makeup industry.
These are my favorite products that I’ve purchased from Amazon. If you’re on a budget, these recommendations are for you!

Nip + Fab. Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme, $11.48

THESE, are the alternative peel pads I found for the Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads. Admittedly not a two-step peel, this peel actually ended up being much better for oily/acne-prone skin—and my wallet. They have a few different versions of the product but I prefer the Extreme Glycolic Fix Night Pads. These pads contain glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid, so it’s perfect for resurfacing and clearing my skin.

Aztec Secret, Indian Healing Clay, $12.90

I’ve written about this clay mask many a time since I started using it in 2012. It’s a staple, a holy grail if you will, and you can always find it in my beauty closet. For centuries, women (and men) have been using clay to detox their bodies. Once a month I mix this mask with a little apple cider vinegar to get rid of excess oil and blemishes. I’ve repurchased this quite a few times.

Jade Roller and Gua Sha Scraping Tool, $8.45

Recently, I’ve seen these tools popping up all over Pinterest and Instagram. It wasn’t until my first professional Gua Sha massage that I knew I had to get my hands on one. The prices I saw online were a little expensive so without hesitating, I immediately turned to Amazon. Originally, I started with an ice roller but wasn’t a fan. So when I saw the jade roller with the Gua Sha tool on Amazon, I was sold! It’s one of my favorite beauty tools at the moment. The benefits and immediate results I notice from the lymphatic drainage are undeniable.

NOW Solutions, Grapeseed Oil, $7.08

Another product I’ve written about time and time again—Grapeseed oil. Grapeseed oil is scientifically proven to be beneficial for your skin. It’s anti-bacterial, it’s moisturizing, and it’s the perfect lightweight oil for my acne/oily prone skin. I use it to oil cleanse, to detangle my hair, and on my body post-shower. It completely changed my skin for life and I am forever loyal to it.

DERMAL, 24 Combo Pack Face Mask, $13.99

These are the best face masks I’ve ever purchased. The simple, hydrating, ingredients are exactly what I need after a long day of work. At $13 for 24 masks, it’s a definite repurchase for me. They also make amazing gifts!

Refectocil, Light Brown Cream Hair Dye, $23.84

This is a new buy for me! Recently, I bought this the other day after watching Danielle Bernstein’s Insta stories. It’s a brow dye for an at-home DIY tint. I’ve always thought about brow tinting but never had the time. Since buying this…my mind was blown. You can make the color as subtle or as dark as you want. It looks so natural. I have light ash blonde eyebrows and now I don’t even have to fill them in. I can’t recommend this enough!

Tinkle, Eyebrow Razor, $4.25

This is one of the most cherished beauty tools that I mentioned in a previous post. I use it to shave my face. By removing the little “peach fuzz-like” hairs, I create a smooth canvas for makeup to glide on. Plus the added benefits of exfoliating don’t hurt either. I’ve purchased this product a few times to keep up maintenance between my dermaplaning treatments—I can’t get enough.

Bedsure, Satin Pillowcase for Hair and Skin, $9.99

To be honest, I was so skeptical about this! Although there’s no scientific evidence that a pillowcase decreases your chances of wrinkles—that I’ve found—it’s definitely amazing for your hair! I look like a lion when I wake up in the morning. Since using silk, or satin, pillowcases I’ve visibly noticed a difference with my hair. Now, I wake up with smooth, soft, shiny hair and less mad-scientist who’s been electrocuted. I’ve even started bringing my pillowcases on work trips with me. The dedication is real!
